Overview

Liberty University

Your journey at Liberty University - the largest Christian university in the world - will begin in the classroom with challenging academics rooted in biblical truth. Then you'll attend concerts and recreational activities, cheer for NCAA Division I athletic teams, go to church with your friends, learn from national leaders at Convocation, and hone your leadership skills. Each aspect of campus life will prepare you for a career - and will connect you to a community of students like no other.

A distinctly Christian atmosphere

Liberty's on-campus Christian community encourages you to grow in your faith through solid relationships with mentors, peer leaders, and others who will pour biblical truth into your life. On Wednesday nights, you'll hear God's Word and worship with other students at Campus Community. Influential speakers at Convocation, such as Beth Moore, Sean Hannity, and Chris Tomlin, will challenge you to engage new ideas and think critically on important matters of faith and culture.

As an on-campus student at Liberty, you'll join a tight-knit community committed to upholding Christian values, praying for and helping one another, and serving the world together in love. You'll have opportunities to serve as a student leader, on a ministry team, or join others on service trips across the country or around the world. You will be prayed for by name daily and you will be loved.

More than Bible classes

At Liberty, you can study to become a commercial jet pilot, a graphic or interior designer, a business professional, a lawyer, an engineer, a pastor, or a doctor. With more than 200 residential undergraduate degree programs, Liberty is sure to have a degree to fit and fuel your passions.

As a university focused on practical learning, Liberty's classes will move you from the lecture hall into the laboratory, the director's chair, the cockpit, or the front of your own classroom. At Liberty, there are numerous opportunities available for you to gain real-world experience, including internships, study abroad trips, and assistantships.
